Frustration

Posted in: Development

I’ve been trying without success for several hours today to get my site working using search engine friendly URLs. So this:

http://alexking.org/index.php?content=software/content.php

it would look like this:

http://alexking.org/view/content/software

which search engines seem to like better. I keep running into problems though - it just isn’t working.

This is being done in b2 as an unsupported configuration, I tried to use it there too, but some of my mods aren’t set up properly for it. I’ll give it another shot at some point I guess.

Well, I should say, it is *working*, but there are too many side-effects right now.
