Weekly Assignments

Posted in: Photography

I took at a photo yesterday for the weekly assignment (subject: Natural Light) at fredmiranda.com. I posted it there, you can add comments if you want to (you have to register to access the weekly assignments forum). I was eating with Eric and got a chance to check out his new camera.

The Canon 1Ds doesn’t have the same 1.6 crop effect that the D30/60 suffers from… it was a real eye-opener for me. Eric has posted a comparison between the D60, 1D and 1Ds that he and Adam put together. The crop effect is a really big deal, also impressive is the image quality of all three cameras.

great axe +4 frostreaver and gauntlets of geekiness.

i lost months to a mud called “Sojourn,” you know, back when this “web” thing was just starting. These days, I don’t need muds to destroy my social life. I just have to click around on the web.

I haven’t been on one in years. I did have a roommate that thought he was going to college on a MUD scholarship.

His day was: Class, MUD, Ramen, MUD, Sleep, MUD. Sleep was optional.
