Posting to Moveable Type blogs

Posted in: Tasks Pro™

I’ve added posting to Moveable Type blogs from tasks through the MT bookmarklet. This is very similar to the b2 posting functionality. MT already supports passing in content to the bookmarklet via URL, so it wasn’t hard at all once I had the URL structure. It does leave an empty <a href=""></a> tag at the top of the bookmarklet. I took a quick glance at the MT code, and it appears that will hard to suppress. I think you can live with it.

I hope I will be adding posting to WordPress in the near future. I’d like the WordPress bookmarklet to support URL parameters and have asked Matt and Mike if they are willing to include it.
