photos 3.5 b2 released

Posted in: Photos

I’ve released photos version 3.5 beta 2. This includes several bug fixes, a built-in configuration check and additional search capability. Check out the version history to see a full list of changes (at least the ones I remembered to write down).

I made changes to the database again, so you have to run the database upgrade script. Sorry about that. The changes made it possible to me to introduce the new range searches on the selected EXIF data, so I think it’s worth it. I’m 99% sure this is the last change I’ll be making until 4.0.

A number of people who emailed me or posted in the photos Yahoo! Group had configuration problems. This version includes a configuration check that tells you what the problem is and how to fix it for most common errors. I hope that this helps people get up and running.

Jake Olefsky has released Exifer 1.3, I’ll upgrade to that version in the next release.

    Hey there,

I like your site, it’s very neat and organized! Thank you for the b2 hacks you provide, they’re great! :P I’ll “try” to install the Since Last Visit hack, although it seems kind of hard…
