My First Eagle

Posted in: Sports

I made my first Eagle today!
On the 274 yard par 4 second hole I chipped in from 10 yards after hitting a good 3 wood off the tee. The tee was up this morning, so the hole was probably only playing 245-255. I actually had 0 putts through 2 holes since I’d made a putt from the fringe on the first hole (doesn’t count as a putt since it wasn’t on the green). Good times.

0 putts through 2 holes. What do you need that new putter for. Nice Eagle Alex. Congratulations! I’m sure you’ll have many more to come as your consistancy improves. I’m definately impressed considering you have only been playing for a couple years.

Thanks Nils. After the scores you shot last weekend, we’re going to have to revisit your handicap again next time we play. ;)

Yep - golf, volleyball and softball are my primary sports these days. Golf has been the main addiction for the last year or two.

I’m glad you like tasks, thanks for commenting!

Sunken GardensOver the last year, I’ve played a ton of golf at Sunken Gardens. This is where I got my first eagle. We’ve been playing an early morning round once a week, and recently we’ve played with just 2 irons and a putter.

    It isn’t a hard course,…

Congratulations for making your first eagle! I’m also a golf player like you. I made my 3rd eagle this year can come to think of it, with a borrowed putter.
