Database Abstraction using PEAR

jason hord sent me a patch to tasks that uses the PEAR database abstraction library instead of the direct MySQL calls. I’m looking forward to seeing how he fares using it with PostgreSQL. Assuming all goes well, I will be looking at moving to this in the 2.0 version of tasks.
