Bryce National Park

Posted in: Photography

Here are some photos I took in Bryce National Park - the land of Hoodoos.

The scenery here is just incredible; it almost made Zion look boring. Looking out over the hoodoos made me think of the rows of warriors in the terra cotta army. Walking down among them was just unreal.

I had some fun with Canon’s PhotoStitch software to make some wide panorama shots. It is my first attempt at this - pretty fun stuff.

    Hi Alex,
Stumbled across your website whilst looking for WordPress inspiration. Then I saw your photos from Utah and thought I’d leave a comment to say that they’re great photos. My fiancee and I will be spending our honeymoon vacation there next summer!

Liked the pics of Bryce. My daughter Jenny just gave birth to a new son, which they named Bryce after their trip out there a year or so ago. Thanks for your work on WP! Jerry

Bryce is amazing! I went there with my ex-wife years ago for a “vacation”. It would have been ideal if she wasn’t there, I just wanted to wander…and wander….and wander….

It’s hard to take a bad picture there.

I love the photo “Douglas Fir” You take some terrific pics. My first camera was a Yashika 35 mm. I’ve gotten away from photography but still appreciate good work.
