I saw the Mariners beat A’s today to keep their playoff hopes alive. Pineiro really struggled early but hung in there and got the win. Ichiro busted out with a nunch of hits including doubles off the left-center and right field walls.
There were some amazing defensive plays in the game, including a couple by Eric Byrnes. The collision between the two catchers was really violent - I wouldn’t want to get in Ben Davis’s way.
