Last 20 Posts RSS on the WordPress Support Forums

Posted in: WordPress

As Matt posted on the WordPress blog, I made a slight change to the RSS feed enabling a ‘Last 20 Posts’ feed similar to the Comments RSS feed that is in WordPress .72.

The scary thing? Matt sent me the rss.php file - I looked at it, made a few guesses (never looked at miniBB code before), made a few changes accordingly, sent it back to him without testing it (no environment to test on), and, according to Matt, it worked. (Wow, long ugly sentance there.) If that is really true, it’s pretty darn cool. More likely, Matt had to fix something. Come on Matt, spill it!

Well, there was one fix, but it was very minor. You had a $forum variable in thi link string and it is actually $forum_id. Thank you very much for your help though. :)
