Our quest to rid the house of brass/gold fixtures continues. After today’s work, we’ve replaced 71 cabinet door/drawer knobs, 7 door knobs, added 2 fake door knobs to the side of the french doors on the study that the latch goes into, replaced the light over the sink in the downstairs bathroom, replaced 4 dome lights, replaced 1 chandelier and shifted the 4 cabinets in the laundry room over 4 inches on the wall to get the space we needed for the dryer.
The painter is starting his prep work tomorrow and we’ve chosen our colors. Hopefully they will look as we are imagining on the walls.
