Setting up Free Trials

Posted in: Tasks Pro™

I’ve been working on setting up the system to create free trials for Tasks Pro™ 1.1 when it is released. One of the things I’ve wanted to do was get rid of a couple of the limitations that are in the current trial and I’ve done that. I actually finished writing the script to do the heavy lifting today.

Also, I’ve decided to disable the file upload feature in the demo and the free trials. Unfortunately there is just too much potential for abuse and liability if I left it in. I’m sorry people won’t get to see that in action before they purchase, but hopefully they can use their imagination.

Well, maybe you could attach a demo text file or something to one task (before disabling that feature) so people can see how it looks like. :)

I thought about that, but it would be a bunch of hacked code to allow the attached files to be displayed with file uploads were off.
