Let's save Gantt charts for Tasks Pro Slow -- for now if I want to buy MS-Project I can.

What I like about Tasks is how lightweight it is, plus the elegant UI.

They might be in the reporting release, maybe one after. Before I can do Gantt charts I have to have dependancies and estimated and actual durations. Frankly I think keeping track of all that data makes most any system too slow to use, I like the 'keep is simple' approach.

My plan is to have a nonimal upgrade charge for major new functionality with all bug fixes and minor feature upgrades for free. For example. Tasks Pro 1.1 was a free upgrade.

The current plan is to add recurring tasks and task templates in the next major upgrade then reporting after that. Of course there are a bunch of other smaller features that will be added as well - I have a very long list. :)

I don't have a problem with that. Officially the license is for one installation, but I'd have a staging install as well if I were experimenting.
