I’ve posted WP Unformatted, a new WordPress plugin for WordPress 1.2 that makes use of the new custom fields to let you disable auto-formatting and auto-smart-quote conversion for a specific post. I’ve wanted this functionality for a long time, now I need to upgrade my blog to 1.2 so I can use it!

Just wanted to say a quick thanks for WP Unformatted. It’s exactly what I needed to stop WordPress’ auto-formatting from combining with Pictpress to spit out invalid XHTML.

Hi Alex, does this plug-in work with pages? I can kill extra BRs with Text Control plugin on pages but that affects posts too which I’m trying to avoid.
So far no luck with the plugin on pages.
