TextDrive

Posted in: Technology

I just cleaned out my PayPal account signing up for TextDrive. $200 for life (well, for TextDrive’s life)! I’ll throw WordPress on there to get Matt another contribution.

Just for clarification, I’m thrilled with my continuing relationship with Austin Web Development and have no plans to move sites from this server (this is a dedicated box, the TextDrive space is not), but this was too good an offer to pass up. It never hurts to have backup web space. :)

Me too. I hope I “made the cut” after seeing the post on photomatt - I have a feeling they’ll burn through those first 200 quickly.

Whoa. Alex, I just checked out the TextPattern forum to see what Text Drive was about (haven’t heard of it before finding your mention of it).

They’re basically giving lifetime hosting for $200?! Sheesh, this kinda changes things…

Like Greg, I noticed they were sold out, too. Argh.

Yep, I think it was a great idea. One I might have a use for in the future.

    My Golf Swing
I posted a couple of video clips of my swing in my Golf blog.

I’ve actually got the clips stored on my TextDrive account. The TextDrive account seems to be very nicely set up. I’m mainly planning to use it for extra storage and bandwidth.

I saw the link, but no info on what TextDrive is - eager to know but still confused.
