On Sunday we drove up to Vail with some friends to go hiking. I’d never been hiking in the snow before, but sure enough it snowed the night before and a little on us during the hike. I took a few photos, but didn’t really stop to make sure I was getting what I hoped I was.
Our friends brought their dogs, including a malamute puppy that had an absolute blast running through the snow. It’s pretty awesome to be able to get out to the mountains to quickly. The drive from the Bay Area to Lake Tahoe was too long to do day trips very often.
Then today we went out golfing in 70+ degree weather.
