Wabbit Season

Posted in: Photography

Had a little BBQ last night (it took me 2 and a half hours to put the stupid grill together) and saw this little fellah in the backyard. He was tiny - maybe 5-6 inches long total. Very cute. The mom rabbit and a sibling were hanging out in the area too, but I didn’t have my camera out yet when I saw them.

It was getting a little dark so I had to shoot at a higher ISO, but the photos came out pretty well.

Settings: ISO 1600, 300mm, 1/15th, f5.6.

Maybe it’s my dyxlexia… but I to read twice to be sure you didn’t shoot the bunny for your BBQ.

I don’t think this guy would have been much of a meal. ;)
