Semi-Extreme Programming

Posted in: Development

I spent the day working on a PHP e-commerce site with Dave, a fellow I met at last month’s PHP Meetup. Dave had already built much of the site and functionality. He asked me to come by to help get some of the details straightened out and to be a second set of eyes looking over some of the code.

I went down to his office and we worked together on his machine, extreme programming style. I’ve been pretty much working solo for the last 6 months so it was a lot of fun working directly with someone again. I enjoy the freedom of working for myself but I do miss the comaraderie of being in the trenches; working with other developers.
