Books!

Posted in: Development

I received 2 books from my Amazon wish list today:

  1. Geof got me Database Design for Mere Mortals. He read it and thought I could use it - what a guy!
  2. Philip got me Getting Things Done, which had been recommended to me by several folks as containing ideas I could integrate into my software.

Both of these books arrive at an excellent time. I’ve recently started adding new features to Tasks and Tasks Pro™ for the next major release.

One of the benefits of being self-employed: Geof asked when I’d have time to read the book and I told him I’d probably just take a few days and read it when it showed up. :)

It had been about a year since I’d gotten anything off that list and I’d somewhat forgotten about it. Getting both books today was quite the surprise. Thanks guys!
