Helping Out

Posted in: Development

I did some testing and provided some feedback for a pre-alpha version of an OS project today. It was a treat to see the great progess being made in that project (I’ll post more details when the work goes public). I’m glad I was able to contribute a little something.

The back and forth critique of ideas is something I miss working by myself. I’ve been slowly getting the design for task templates into a workable system, but it would be nice to have someone at the desk next to me to bounce ideas off of and brainstorm with.

I battle with this constantly. Once I went back to ‘work’ at a full-time gig simply because I was bored of being by myself. I’ve gotten over that, almost - but still miss the many “brain-tank” sessions my colleagues and I enjoyed.
