Romping Puppy

Posted in: Dog, Photography

I went up to visit our puppy this afternoon. All of the puppies are running around and playing now. Our girl has gotten quite a bit bigger since we last saw her. She’s the biggest of her litter by quite a bit.

I brought up the collar and kennel we’d picked up to make sure they’d work. The collar fit just fine though the little tag looks enormous on her. The grown dogs were a bit of a tight fit in the kennel so I think we’re going to exchange it for the next larger size.

I took her out in the yard for a half hour and played w/ her until she got tired out. Of course, I took a bunch of photos. :)

If you stop taking periodic puppy photos when she’s in your household, you’re crazy. This is an exceedingly cute dog.

I agree, very cute dog! Your photography certainly isn’t half bad, either ;) Some very well framed shots in there…

Half the reason I drop by these days is to see if any new puppy pictures have been posted. Thanks for the fix. It will be fun to hear about the transition when the puppy comes home!

My pup had blue eyes when he first came home but they eventually turned to brown, slowly and not at the same time. I remember him having a brown eye and a blue eye for a bit. Cute pup.

I had a Shetland Sheepdog, also a blue merle, and she was the best pet (in the dog category) that I’ve ever had…friendly, energetic, and a great tempered breed. She had one blue and one half blue/brown eye, looking at your photos brings back memories. So thanks.
