Is new York the only corporate location? I want to find these executives and make my case! Citimortgage has made me give up my belief in the American dream , the belief that if you dokie the rules and create a business and contribute to the economy you will be treated fairly! Ha ha

Just wanted know to if anyone successfully refinance your mortgage with Citimortgage throught the Making Home Affordable Program? I have been calling Citi and left my infor. and there is no one returning call. Its frustrating, I just wanted to take advantage of the low rate. I don't know if the same thing happen to other people.

I truly feel your pain. Just today I got the run around as well. Citimortgage just merged with the company that held my mortgage. At the first of the month I called to find out how I should make my payments…(I was on direct withdrawn from my checking acct.). “Send a check” I was told. I did so and they promptly cashed it as well as did a direct withdrawn from my acct. Not aware of this I unknowningly was bouncing checks that have resulted in $210 in over-drafts. After three phone calls all I got was send a bank statement to account inquiries and if you don’t hear fr,this is true

I to have had my share.I wish I could do something about this organization. I agree with all the negative comments that I have read thus far. No one has been crossed trained. NO "CUSTOMER SERVICE", answering the phone (at their leisure) transferring, questions that were already answered, it just gets better and better. I will look into getting someone to purchase my account, so I don't have to deal with them. Making it short, all has been said already.

Was on the phone with citimortage last night for 5 hours. I pay them morg. payment ever mo. and never late. They are to pay taxes and insurance. Well the did not make the insurance payment and the insurance on the prop. is cancelled. They new quote on the insurance would be $2141.00 more a year and they want me to pay it. It's is there error that they did not pay insurance and now they want me to pay for new rate on insurance.

don't think so.

thanks to all of you who have listed phone numbers for citimortgage. i have been logging them all and will start dialing in the morning.

somehow, in 3 credit reports, i am shown as filing a dispute with Citimortgage. i never did, but apparently that is besides the point, as Citimortgage has supplied that information to the credit reporting agencies. i now get to wade through the phone numbers to see how i get the so called dispute off my record, so i can get a new home loan (from a different lender -for sure).

i will let y'all know if i get my problems with CitiMortgage resolved.

I too have gone through years of hassle with CitiMortgage. My husband passed away and after just being unbelievably frustrated with the lack of service or response while trying to get the loan put into my name, i simply gave up because I pay my notes on time and overpay at that and always have. This year I received a notice that I was two payments behind when It clearly showed online that they have received these payments and applied them to my escrow instead. After about 10 calls I finally see that my last two of the last three payments have been applied, but the third was still i my escrow and that applied a late charge. Throughout the process I was told that they were not allowed to speak with me regarding the account because my husbands name was on the loan not mine and he would have to authorize them to speak to me. REALLY?!?! you need authorization from a dead man?!?! I provided them the death certificate and the affidavit of heirship 4 TIMES!! and they still were not being helpful and actually told me that there were no phones in the their legal or dispute departments. again REALLY?!?!? The level of ignorance that I have had to deal with is beyond belief and I have had to take time away from my job, and my family in order to deal with it.

FINALLY!!! I found a number on this blog that actually worked and got everything taken care of.

The Executive Unit number is 636-261-7200.

The woman I spoke to was Lee and she got everything taken care of quickly and probably saved me from a mental breakdown in the process. I can only say that I appreciate her willingness to help and actually rectify the situation. They need more people like Lee at CitiMortgage.

A large law firm - I think they are called Milberg - has filed a class action against Citi for just these types of practices. There is a link to them at www.citimortgagesucks.net.

Just because they've asked the suit to be heard does not mean the court will decide to hear it. However, the more people that put their names in, the better the chances.

This home modification program from odumbo is nothing more than a payoff to the banks to steal your homes from you for all the donations they gave to his election campaign. Come this Nov. 2 i would hope you people have wised up and have figured who you should be voting for.

Anyone with a mortgage who's in a Chapter 13 Bankruptcy PLEASE read this! Check your credit record. My husband and I discovered Citimortgage is not reporting our payments to any credit bureaus and even purged our mortgage from all reports. I called them immediately to let them know they weren't reporting our payments. I talked to two people in the bankruptcy dept. They were very unconcerned and vague when I ask why. They claim this is legal and refuse to cooperate with us or our Attorney.. he even spoke with a supervisor. What about OUR rights to a fair and ACCURATE report? This is seriously hurting our ability to increase our score. We've owned our home for 13yrs and pay our mortgage payments timely and outside our chapter 13. I googled the subject and read an article which says mortgage companies do this to keep their customers credit scores low so they will not be able to sell or refinance their home with another lender. The strict rules they are setting now will only create a lot of homes sitting vacant. We are stuck with a 8.9 mortgage rate from 1997 because if a lender looks at our credit they won't even see that we have a mortgage or a decent score as a reward for our timely payments. I’ve been calling and writing to Citimortgage since March. I just received a letter back in September 2010. They said the credit bureaus chose to PURGE our payments from the report. They even told the BBB that in a complaint I filed. Yet in their letter they state…Citimortgage is required to report to all major credit bureaus..well they are NOT. I filed a complaint with the FCC and got a message saying they do not handle individuals complaints. So who do I turn to?

Okay, I feel everyones' pain here, but let me just add to it. I did everything I was asked, faxed every piece of paper requested, have the transmission confirmations that prove that my fax was received prior to the 8am deadline on September 7 and guess what, THEY SOLD MY HOUSE and then sent a letter stating they did not receive my information when a representative confirmed to me today that the paper work was there. The counselor NEVER looked to see if she had received my information...Now, in the state of GEORGIA there is no redemption law so I am SCREWED. They have 13 years of payments and I have 4 children and a husband and have no where to go!

And to think my tax money bailed out this crappy organization!

Folks, I will not go over the details because they would be totally repetitious. Suffice it to say I have been going through the same trying to get a modification since March 2009. Everything that has been posted has happened to me. I have been trying to find an attorney to see what can be done. I too want to sue them in a class action; however, who of us knows how to get one started? I used to work for an atty that did class action lawsuits but of a different nature. I am going to keep trying to get an atty. I see now that I will never get my modification and the threat of foreclosure will most likely come to fruition. I just got back to work after a year and a half with no job so have the money for an attorney. I will keep all of you posted.
