Mac users are pretty much stuck using phpMyAdmin 2.5.7 until this bug is fixed. I’m mentioning it here to help raise awareness of the problem. If you know of a fix, please submit a patch. 
Or perhaps it is already fixed and not marked properly in the bug tracker? (Status: Open, Resolution: Fixed).
UPDATE: I tested and it looks like the problem still exists. If you run a current version of phpMyAdmin on a linux server and do an export using any Mac browser, you cannot import the resulting SQL file due to invalid line endings.
UPDATE #2: After more and more testing, it looks like this issue is indeed fixed and that other issues were in play that I incorrectly attributed to this bug. Time to upgrade after all.
