Puppy Class Graduate

Posted in: Dog

The little pup was a champ at her puppy class graduation today. She received the ‘most responsive to commands’ award and she won the the ‘best trick’ category. The winning trick was as follows:

  1. Lie down
  2. I put a liver treat on each of her paws
  3. I tell her to leave it
  4. She sits there in agony, finally turning her head away from the treats - waiting for about 30-45 seconds
  5. I tell her ‘OK’
  6. She scarfs up the liver treats with abandon

Sounds cute! Any pics of her in action? I think it’d be especially cute to get a pic of her turning her head away from the treats :)

The camera is a bit of a distraction but I’ll give it a shot.

Comgrats to your pup for graduating summa cum laude from Puppy U. What’s her name?
Is she an Aussie or Border Collie? As you can tell by my e-mail address, I raise Standard Collies, Borders, and Aussies.
Was surfing ways to set up my own blog and bumped into your site. Glad I did…made me laugh.
