This unit has a design flaw in the mic input jack that makes a popping buzzing ground noise in all recordings. The background noise is horrible and well outside the specs of the laptop. Just do a google search for "700m audio" or "recall 700m" and you'll see there's a growing number of dissatisfied 700m owners. Reserach this out first! This laptop is great – as long as you are never going to record anything, or use any audio conferencing programs.
