I got an automated call from the county sheriff’s office today warning me about a grass fire that was burning just a few miles away from our house. According to the call, some folks nearby were required to evacuate - yikes!
I was quite relieved when I got a follow-up call notifying me that the fire had been contained.

Interesting, I saw smoke on the north side of Jeffco airport (was over at the mall). Not good news!

Fire Damage
Yesterday’s fire was in an open space area where we take the pup to let her run off-leash. It looks like the fire was stopped very close to some of the houses out there. Definitely a little too close for comfort.
