Fire Damage

Yesterday’s fire was in an open space area where we take the pup to let her run off-leash. It looks like the fire was stopped very close to some of the houses out there. Definitely a little too close for comfort.

I stopped by the side of the road to snap a few shots - didn’t go out where I would have gotten better ones (maybe when I have more time). The whole hillside is black - that isn’t just shadows. I over-exposed the photos a little to help show this.

    Welcome to Colorado….
    This is unusual for January… but it’s pretty much the norm for summer when everything dries out. I don’t think we had a big one last year though…
