My new iPod battery has at least a 15 hour run time. How do I know? I’d used it for a few days, then I (accidentally) left it on for 12 hours1 last night and it was still running in the car this morning. Gotta love it.

great wordpress hacks as well (just getting used to it now). I have a lovely 20 Gig Ipod as well and I love it to death.
p.s. – cold weather tends to preserve battery life
Mark – It is my understanding that cold reduces battery life (very easy to test this — I see the results every time my batteries get cold), but warmth tends to reduce a battery’s life.
I’ve had the same experience – in the past, leaving the iPod in the cold has reduced the battery from three bars to one in a matter of hours.
