Sorry folks, I don’t know how the Styles and my Plugins fare on WordPress 1.5 because I haven’t had a chance to test them all yet. My guess is that some work (the styles likely work OK on the ‘WP Classic’ theme) while some may break.
When I get some time I will test, update anything that needs updating and create another Plugged In release.
Your a good man Alex.. a real good man.
Yea I noticed they don’t come over that nicely…
Here’s what I did to get it working (displaying all) on WP1.5:
I downloaded all of the files and extracted them into domain.com/css/
then in wp-content/themes/classic/header.php I added the following code instead of the default stylesheet inclusion:
and then made a small php segment that parses all of the directories in domain.com/css to display for clickage.
But I hope that soon these will be converted natively to a WP1.5 theme instead of just trying to use the legacy stylesheets.
Well, that didn’t exactly show right, but I think you get the idea.
The SINCE LAST VISIT plugin isn’t working well, but it is surely just a root/path problem in the configuration of wp-last-visit.php. I tried some changes but didn’t solve it.
My styles still work. Not sure what I did right but they do. Thanks for the great plugins!
Alex, I had some styles installed I downloaded from your site, along with the style-switcher plugin, and really like Rubric, one of the contest winners. Unfortunately, Rubric, my default style, didn’t transfer over, and I have to retool to the new theme-based system by hand, something I haven’t geared up for yet.
WP 1.5 Theme Template
Everyone, you may want to try this.
Any plans on offering a WordPress Themes contest/site Alex? I’ve started to convert my themes, as well as do some things the Themes free you to do that you couldn’t with styles. It would be nice to have them available on the ‘defacto WordPress Themes site’
I might just do that.
Hey, I’ve been trying to update my wpgrins, and the only problem I’ve had so far with 1.5 is that I can’t figure out where to add the admin tag (previously in quicktags.php). But other than that it’s still working, thought you would like to know.
WP-Grins works right out of the box. All you have to do is to activate the plugin and then add the line to quicktags file.
Helps having quicktags enabled.
Er, are you sure about that thing with WP Grins? I’m having some trouble getting it to run … I followed the .txt document and for some reason the little menu won’t appear. I do have quicktags enabled.
