Neglected Hobbies

Posted in: Photography, General

I’ve been so busy for the last few months with contract work and getting my releases ready to go, I’ve been working pretty much all day and just about completely neglected my hobbies. I chatted with Adam today and he’s got data storage challenges because he has so many photos. In contrast, I’ve hardly taken any in the last few months. My golf game is probably pretty rusty too.

When my current obligations are met, I need to try to find more time in the day for things that aren’t done at a computer. :)

This reflects exactly on the situation I’m in. Thanks for showing me that I am not the only one in this position.

    Uh yeah, me too.

It’s funny, when I was working for “the man” tm I was working about 50 - 60 hour weeks and hating every minute of it.

However, now that I work for me (Shameless plug), I tend to work 70 - 80 hour weeks including weekends. But, for whatever reason it doesn’t seem like that much…untill I realize that “my gosh…it’s Monday, and I didn’t golf/game again this weekend.

    …sigh…

me too! i’ve been so busy with one thing on the computer that i’m procrastinating on a project — that is also on the computer.

    argh.

so you’re going to finish your current obligations, and then… build a server to store your photos, to take a break? :)
