Theme and Style Browsers

Posted in: WordPress

I’m been blown away by the number of themes submitted to the Theme Competition – frankly it’s a little difficult to view them all just using the theme switcher. Because of this, I’ve created a Theme Browser and Style Browser to make it easier for people to view and download the themes and styles.

I like your theme browser idea. It would be nice if the user can select a theme and it’ll be added to a cookie. And the next time the user visits that page, they can use back the same theme they selected in the past. That’d be sweet. :D

It does that. If you visit the site without going through the ‘browser’ interface, it shows the theme you last selected.

That’s great! Any chance of it being turned into a plug in or something?

Not really, you need all the data about each theme to make it work. It plugs into the same data that is used to generate the themes and styles lists.

    Theme Rückfall

Da ich einige Probleme mit meinem selbsterstellten Theme hatte, musste ich auf ein freies zurückfallen. Meine Wahl fiel auf Blix
