Volleyball

We won our co-ed hardcourt volleyball league tonight. We won 7 straight games from pool play through the finals - nice job all.

It’s a little frustrating going between sand and hardcourt volleyball because the timing is so different, but after playing sand you feel like you can fly on the hardcourt.

how come you feel like you can fly after you play in sand? I play high school volleyball, and if i am going to make the team playing middle hitter i need some tips for hitting and jumping

Play some sand volleyball, then go back to hard court - you’ll see. :)

i play highschool volleyball too and i know exactly what you mean about switching from sand to hardcourt… i live right on the ocean and play beach volleyball every day in the summer.. going back to school in the fall is amazing.. it feels so good to be able to jump and run without the strain of the sand. thats how you can tell you worked hard during the offseason. and congratulations on winning 7 straight games.. thats exhausting!
