	Well, I got curious so I went ahead and wrote up a little script to grab some basic stats from my iTunes data. I figured others might be interested in this as well, so I&#8217;ve packaged it up as a download.

		<description>i've always found myself wishing that the itunes library could mimic a real database. i thought that maybe smart playlists would cover my needs, but they are still lacking in several ways. how hard *would* it be to dump the xml itunes library into mysql?</description>
