Untested WordPress Themes

Posted in: WordPress

I’ve posted a list of untested WordPress themes that have been submitted to me for addition to my list, but that I don’t have time to code review before posting.

As I previously posted, there are a few things I’d like to have looked for in each theme. Once one person approves the theme, it will be moved to the Final Review list for one more review.

Once a theme has been code reviewed twice (by 2 different reviewers), it will be added to the list.

Have fun!

I downloaded 8.zip from your untested theme page and when I attempted to unpack it AVG said a virus was detected. (Iworm/bagle) Needless to say I deleted the file. Just thought you should know.

Thanks, that is why I’ve been generally unwilling to put stuff up untested.

Bligblog theme – Denied – Remove it or remove the hidden links in the footer. Plus, Its a design based on equix 1.1. All he did was added hidden links in footer and a new header.

Thanks. All, please e-mail me with comments/reviews – commenting on this blog post isn’t a good place for this stuff.

Maybe I should set up another forum.

A bit off-topic, but is it just me or is the Theme Browser broken? I’m using Safari 2 and Firefox on Mac OS X and the themes won’t change at all.

Are these themes just for general download, or for a competition? I have several, should I submit them, mail you?

Almost Spring untested? It won one of the awards earlier this year, didn’t it?

I’ve been using it (and adapted it for three columns) almost as long as I’ve been using WP, although one problem I’ve seen with it is that the right side-bar ends up at the bottom of the blog, below all the other content, on IE on Windows pre-XP.

Some of these are new submissions, some are updates to old entries.

I submitted the bligblog theme, and forgot about the links. I put those into my own version for my site. When I grabbed the files to submit the theme I completely forgot about the links in the footer.php. It was a seo test I was working on. Alex I can resubmit with the links off.
