Recently I’ve been finding myself more and more reluctant to haul my SLR gear around with me. The Nova Scotia trip was probably the tipping point for me - I didn’t have my camera out much, mainly because it was a bit of a hassle. I’ve been watching Craig’s list on and off since then and today I pulled the trigger on a used Canon G5.
I’m looking forward to playing with it this weekend. I’ve had Canon DSLRs and the Canon S30 in the past so I’m fairly familiar with all the controls, but it is just enough different that I’m not 100% on how to do the stuff I normally take for granted.
I’ll be putting my 10D on Craig’s list on Monday. If anyone is interested in a very well maintained 10D with battery grip (looks like $750 is a fair price), let me know.
