It seems like every time I travel these days, I come home feeling downright awful. Maybe it’s all the germs on the plane, maybe it’s lack of sleep due to overstuffed pillows in hotels, etc. I’ve been traveling a bit more than is my norm lately and I’m getting rather tired of it. I don’t know how folks that travel as a core part of their job do it.
Due to a combination of getting to the airport a little early this morning, having the flight delayed (of course) and hitting rush hour traffic on the way home, I managed to lose pretty much an entire day (9:30am to 5pm - local times) traveling from the Bay Area to Denver. Sure, I got a couple good hours of coding in on the plane, but yuck!

I know what you mean man. I travel around the world quite a bit and find that I get sick mostly on the national flights. I recently flew Sydney to London with Emirates and believe me, this was the most relaxing, polite and enjoyable flight I have ever taken.
Location, Check out my web site. I have seen a few.
Warmly, Mike King.

i’d say you get used to it, and it’s true to a certain extent, but it’s still the least favorite part of the job. can’t have everything, though.
