When I'm looking at less technically savvy sites I sometimes feel compelled to click a link that says "contact us" when looking for its geographic location. Sometimes I don't think to just hover, I just presume that a contact page will be linked.

It's not too hard to make GMail your default email client.

I know this is about Windows right here but on my Mac's I use in Path Finder, Compress and Email a lot so that is using the "defualt" mail client.

I have never used a a mailto: before. I have always found them useless. When I do want to use one, I am not at my own computer

I was actually thinking about this the other day.. how I've been through several 'default email client' switches over the last couple years.. but it's been *ages* since I've actually clicked a mailto link.

I sometimes accidentally click them in Bugzilla, when I intend to copy the address for someone I'm asking for patch review or CCing on another bug. Actually clicking one and sending mail? I'm sure I've done it. I must have, right?
