Yeah, i was asking about built-in reporting. I guess I could quit being lazy and put together my own frontend for grabbing that data, but I think lots of people would benefit from it. Glad to know it's slated for a future release.

Alex,

I have been a Tasks user for over 2 years now so I know how much the product has grown! There is no question that the time has come to update the pricing for this awesome tool! I would have no trouble paying twice the price (for the single-user version) because this product has improved my productivity ten-fold. As an extremely satisfied customer, I whole-heartedly support this decision on pricing. Thank you for a great product and for such great support/service!

Jeff: what do you mean by "quality reporting"?

I'm surprised that this entry hasn't gotten more replies yet. :) But yeah, I get it, Alex.

Add some quality reporting to the package and I would have no problem paying for an upgrade, even at a moderately increased price. I use the standard package, not Pro. I don't care much about calendaring, but having a way to report what hours went where during a given time frame would be fantastic.

Right now i can search for items between dates, and that sort of works, but all i get is a dump of tasks in a not particularly easy to read order. I'd like to be able to group output by categories as established by folder grouping and possibly by tagging. I'd like to see hourly totals for similar items that have time allocated to them.

Good reporting would take this from a handy tool I use now and then when I'm really trudging through a bunch of stuff, to something that I used daily for many aspects of my personal life and job. In other words, it would be much more valuable.
