		<description>Homesite (which was originally by Allaire) is the best text editor for Windows.  But Macromedia basically abandoned it once they acquired Allaire and have pushed Dreamweaver instead ever since.

Still, I&#039;d take Homesite 5 (which was released in October of 2001 and hasn&#039;t changed since as far as I know) over the latest and greatest version of Dreamweaver any day.</description>
