But Macromedia basically abandoned it once they acquired Allaire and have pushed Dreamweaver instead ever since. Still, I'd take Homesite 5 (which was released in October of 2001 and hasn't changed since as far as I know) over the latest and greatest version of Dreamweaver any day. Homesite (which was originally by Allaire) is the best text editor for Windows. But Macromedia basically abandoned it once they acquired Allaire and have pushed Dreamweaver instead ever since.
