Google Area Code Lookup

Posted in: General

If you ever want to know where a certain area code is located (at least US and Canadian area codes, I haven’t tried others), just type the area code into Google and hit search. The area code location is shown above the search results.

Lots faster than trying to use those “free area code lookup” web sites that make you jump through 18 hoops, ask you for money after all, and never actually give you any information.

Australian area codes are not working, unless Google has a perverse syntax for them.
