Interesting Side Effect

Posted in: Development, Technology

My recent RAM shortage has had an interesting side effect. Instead of leaving a dozen or so apps open at once, I quit apps when I’m done using them. This has left me with a less cluttered workspace and more focus on the task at hand.

Of course it also means that the apps I’m using run horribly slow, so I will definitely be putting the new RAM in when it comes. But perhaps I will also try to quit out of stuff more often when I’m not actively using it.
