...you didn’t say how many tracks were in your library. I’m curious...

A little over 3000 right now.

Chris is right, Alex: My friends call me "our musical crack dealer". It also helps that I always have about five CDs from my library in someone else's hands at all times.

That said, you didn't say how many tracks were in your library. I'm curious ... but also glad that you're not starting a penis-envy thing here.

Torrenting legal bootlegs is the 21st Century of tape-swapping amongst Deadheads and their ilk. It always astounds me when an artist forbids all taping. [I get not allowing SBD patches, and frankly, I'll take a good AUD over most any SBD.]

Okay, okay ... I'm going to shut up now, because otherwise, I could write an entire entry here in the comments. Besides, I have another bootleg to publish. :)

I'm just torrenting legal bootlegs so the first two there are pretty much the same. :)

If I were looking for discovery, I'd be using Pandora, I was impressed with it when I used it briefly a little while back.

You've got to watch out - once GFM gets you started on bootlegs and torrents... well, it's like quicksand. Nearly impossible to get out. :-)

Yes, I do the same thing - there's a discussion on that in the comments of the previous post (linked above).

I have a playlist in iTunes called "Unrated/Unplayed" that lists all of my songs which are either unrated or unplayed. I routinely set my Party Shuffle to play from that list. Combined with Synergy, this makes staying on top of my ratings quite easy.
