Alex, could you go into more detail in how it was a pos exp? I’ve been thinking of using them but can’t find any sites with a good explanation of results they have seen.

Hmm, I guess it’s just a matter of their service working as it says it does and their support being very responsive with questions, etc.
You can manage everything through their web interface, install the ad code and pretty soon you’re getting cash every month.
The text links are unobtrusive and do very little to detract from your site (as opposed to pay-per-click ad systems that are generally more invasive to get more clicks).

While I’m not a huge fan of adverts on blogs, I also see the side that the hosting and development time needs some sort of funding so not completely opposed to them.
I signed to TLA at the start of the year and had some great experiences with them. In the first two months, I’d made just under my hosting costs for the year from publishers and am still getting enquiries.

They have a “Link Buying Starter Kit” at http://www.text-link[...]rter_kit.php which includes a coupon for $100 off your first order of $125 or more. I’ve used their service, and while I didn’t get the results I had hoped for, I appreciate their level of customer support.
