It's the quality of the chip that determines for the most part how your photos turn out, noet so much the amount of MP's.

I second the comment about MP being somewhat unrelated to usability. I had a Clie TH55 (until it died) and despite its low res I found myself taking shots all the time. It was so handy to have a handy camera available in a utility device I was carrying for other reasons.
I have been thinking the same thing as of late - would be nice to have a reasonable quality camera combined with my phone. The N95 may be a little out of my range, but have been pondering a switch to a Sony/Ericsson K700/800 for that reason.
My current LG has a silly little subMP camera, but more importantly my carrier charges for each shot sent to email. As its CDMA without a cable or card, I am tied to that methodology.
If you pursue the thought any further will look forward to hearing your experience.

Cell phones are a great illustration of how little megapixels can relate to quality. My wife and I have the same 1.whatever megapixels in our phones, hers a Nokia and mine a Sidekick. Her phone takes perfectly good shots, whereas the Sidekick takes passable shots only in full, preferably standing on the sun, sunlight.

Just picked up an n80 which has a 3-megapixel camera in it. Great device all in all and it's great for the random candid shot.
