Recent travels have had me in a few different rental cars. My reviews:
- Chrysler Crossfire - topless fun
- Dodge Nitro - underpowered unresponsive
- Jeep Liberty - surprisingly satisfactory

Do any of those actually get decent gas mileage? You needed to rent a Nitro? Does anyone ever need to rent a Nitro?:)

I don’t know about you, but I take what they give me when I show up at the rental counter - hoping it won’t be a mini van.

I usually get a minivan for my annual Alta trip, it’s the best way to carry 6 people + gear short of a Suburban.

Let’s see, I’ve had a lot of rentals in my days:
Chrysler Sebring - Dated crap
Chrysler Sebring Convertible - Open crap
Ford Taurus - White trash (the car was actually white)
Pontiac Vibe - Curiously capacious
Chevrolet HHR - Shortlasting fun
Jeep Liberty - Back pain
Jeep Grand Cherokee - Nice ride
Chevrolet Malibu - Amazing delight
Chrysler Magnum - Great image
Chrysler Pacific - Road eater
Chrysler 300C - Pimp Daddy
I think that’s about it… My fav’s where the last three. In about three weeks I will be flying into Denver International from Amsterdam and I rented a luxury class to drive up to Seattle with.
I’m hoping for a good car this time around…
