Jack in the Box in Colorado

Posted in: General

Leonard told me there was one a couple of weeks ago, but I didn’t believe him. He was right, there is a new Jack in the Box in Golden, CO by the Home Depot at Colfax and Hwy 6.

Just opened: Jack in the Box in Golden, CO

I thought it was only right to do a recon trip. The place was packed, and it had a pretty cool self-service ordering kiosk that worked surprisingly well.

As noted in my previous post, Jack in the Box is the only fast food that I really like. I’m going to have to exercise some self-discipline now. :)

While the Jack in the Box in Golden is not far from my house, it’s at least far enough out of the way that I don’t drive past it on a regular basis. However the one they are putting one in at I-70 and Kipling

Oh yeah, all up and down the West coast (WA, OR too), Hawaii (Oahu at least) and Arizona (there’s one by the PHX airport).

I had no idea you lived in Colorado, Alex. Me too. :) Bet you guys got a lot more snow up there than we did out here on the plains. No Jack-in-the-Box out this way. ;)

Yea we have them all over in Washington, I am heading to town to help a friend with a WP theme I might even hit that up as I haven’t had dinner yet. Nice to see that they are expanding.

I really miss Jack in the Box out there on the West Side. I haven’t found anything that doesn’t top the Sourdough Jack in a long time! Combination of Sourdough Bread, melted cheese, bacon, tomato, etc…owww… its just so good! Oh yeah…the Ultimate Cheeseburger is awesome too but I think that it is considered THE worst burger a human can possible ingest.

Heck yeh, I live about 4 miles from the one they are putting in at I70/Kipling. I cannot wait, I love JIB, and visit every chance I get while in CA, HI, and any place else that I happen to come across one. WooHoo!!!

I almost did a recon mission to see if I was spreading lies or not. I’m glad I won’t need to drive that far out of my way to find out. I’ll have to take a trip out there sometime soon to get myself some of the most delicious and likely most unhealthy tacos on earth.

Now all we need is an In-N-Out!

OMG this is a rare find. The only thing that would be better would be an INnOUT but we know that will never happen. As much as this place is just average for food, it’s a part of Cali culture D-town desperately needs.
