Good summary - I hope that some future revisions will support some big ol’ dongle/dock solution for driving a 30″ display. I use my MacBook Pro as my primary machine at the office, so I can’t switch - yet.
You’ll have a hard time convincing me this isn’t just the tip of the iceberg. The MacBook and MacBook Pro lines are due for an overhaul still - I expect it to come sooner rather than later.

for a mobile person, this thing is really really nice. but yes, for coming back to the office, one would rather use something beefier. the link summarizes pro and cons well.
