"They may consider it in this manner, that doesn’t mean I have to agree or allow it on my site."

I wasn't referring to you, simply the whole idea behind your plug-in looked a little weird for me.
People have different views from various perspectives, of course someone might find it useful and apply this change.
However Alex thanks for the tip, but I'm completely aware that it's up to you as it's anyones to decide what one wants to do in their blog.

P.S. submitting uri's on blog comments is a way of getting involved in the blogosphere, a matter of creating connections between bloggers. I hope you agree here.

i agree some bloggers use commenting as a type of advertisement on others blogs ,
also the owner of these blogs has the right either to accept it or not .

also people usually comment on things that only worth commenting on .

cheers

Thanks Alan for the update.

For those asking "why"?

I know of one religious blog that often gets comments from people who have "adult" oriented blogs. While they appreciate the comments some of their consistent visitors are offended by links to "adult" sites.

This is weird though, people usually consider commenting in various blog this way kinda advertising their web page, therefore I don't understand where's the point on doing this?

@Alex,
I guess comment authors won't link this at all.
By the way it would be better if you create a plugin to check comment authors link is valid URI. If its invalid or non-existent then only it should be removed!
