OK, so its not true but a dry county means NOTHING!

I live in Tyler TX and Smith County is dry, we have bars on every corner.

Alcohol is sold under the guise of “private membership” people. A dry county means nothing.

This was awesome. I can just see so many Christians praying and praying and then when it comes to pass totally denying God because of the way their prayer was “answered”.

I live in Mt. Vernon, TX (Franklin County). We are a very small county (pop. around 10,000). This never happened but I, like everyone else got a laugh. Rather funny reading about our little town on the internet. Adam is exactly right, Franklin County is dry.

hilarious, but as i was thinking it over, i could imagine some pastors using it as a sermon illustration. it's not on snopes yet, but this guy calls it a fill-in-the-blank fable.
