The WordPress HelpCenter affiliate program is for everyone. Anyone can earn referral money by registering as an affiliate and sending people to the WordPress HelpCenter.

Plugin and theme developers can also earn additional affiliate payments by registering their plugins and themes with us. We really want them to do this and to contribute by providing some FAQs about their plugins and themes so that we can better help their users.

So every publisher ( WP blogger) can following the affiliate program? but i think it’s only for plugin or theme developer, isn’t it?

I also misunderstood the affiliate program as being for people who create themes and plugins only. Perhaps if you made it more clear in the first paragraph of the Affiliate Program it would help? Because you mention “a formal relationship between WPHC and plugin and theme authors” my brain automagically thought this is who the program was for. Good luck.

I love the idea of WordPress Help Center. But I was disappointed to see is that the affiliate program is only for plugin and theme developers. As someone who regularly blogs about both, it would be nice to take part in the affiliate program that would pay me to refer my readers to them. Especially since my niche is for WordPress newbies, ones who would use this service.
