I’m a bit baffled by all of the late night TV shuffling, arguing, debating, etc. Are there still people that watch TV (besides sporting events) at their broadcast time?
I’ve had a DVR since 2002 – I can hardly fathom watching TV another way.

I’m with you. If I did watch late-night TV (I don’t), I’d DVR it.
There are a few things I regularly watch on-time, mostly things I know that people are going to talk about in the office the next day.
The best thing about this late-night debacle is that these are comedy guys, and Conan (and Jimmy Kimmel on Lenos show) are giving some absolutely incredible material here. I think the biggest thing that people said (i’ve never watch it more than once or twice) Conan’s Tonight Show lacked was that he didn’t feel “at home” yet and free to really be himself and make his jokes his way.
Well, now that he knows he is basically done there, his gloves are off and its some really funny material.
